AI Stack Audit: what you are actually paying for
The short answer
Send us the list of AI tools you pay for. We price every seat, unit and overage by hand against the vendor's own pages, then hand you a written plan: what to cancel, what to downgrade, what to renegotiate.
What we check
| Item | What we look at | Typical saving |
|---|---|---|
| Seats | Paid seats against people who actually logged in this month | 10-30%of the subscription |
| Plan tier | Whether your volume justifies the tier you are on | 1 tieroften the whole fix |
| Usage units | What counts as a task, operation or resolution, and what you actually consume | variescan be the largest line |
| Overage | Rates above the included allowance against a cheaper higher tier | varies |
| Billing term | Monthly against annual, and what you give up by committing | up to 20%on seat plans |
Those are the same levers we write about, for example in AI tool pricing traps, where a $20 seat plan turns into $500 a month at 25 people.
What you get
- A written report: every tool, its current plan, its real cost, and the cheaper configuration
- The savings figure, tool by tool, with the vendor page and date we checked it
- A short list of what to cancel, downgrade or renegotiate, in order of impact
- A 30-minute call to walk through it
What we do not do
- We do not take commission from any vendor, and there are no affiliate links in the report
- We do not touch your accounts or need your passwords. You make the changes.
- We do not recommend switching tools for the sake of it. If your stack is fine, the report says so and you have saved the fee in certainty.
How it works
- You send the tool list: names, plan, seat count, plus one month of invoices or usage
- We price each one by hand against the vendor's current page, and date the check
- We model the alternatives: fewer seats, lower tier, annual billing, different unit pricing
- You get the report within five working days, then a call
Why the fee is this low
Because the research is already done. The prices in our guides are checked by hand, so most audits are a matter of matching your actual usage to numbers we already hold. The fee covers the matching and the write-up, not a discovery project.
Who it is for
Small teams paying for three to ten AI or automation tools, where nobody is quite sure what the total is each month, or why the bill moved. If you are spending under $100 a month in total, the audit will not pay for itself. Read the guides instead, they are free.
